Here is an interesting report from CNA relating the events in Japan to the message of Our Lady at Akita. My brother worked in Japan for a while as a school administrator, and I know a religious sister in Japan. I received her into the church some years ago and she soon joined a congregation connected with Our Lady and the care of children. I don't know where she was living at the time of the disaster. The world is much smaller than it used to be.
