I am not sharing anyone else's post this time, not providing music nor discussing any article found elsewhere. I am sharing a conviction I have. I suspect it is felt by many others.
The "Time of Mercy" spoken of in the revelations to St. Faustina is about to come to an end. This does not mean that God's Mercy is coming to an end - that is an impossibility, but the specific time allowed by God under the title of "Mercy" in human history, is drawing to a close.
There are many prophecies and fears and suppositions all over the internet about what is coming following the "retirement" of the Pope. Whatever the details are, there is one thing of which I am sure. NOW is the time for us to decide for HOLINESS. We are called to sanctity. This is a fundamental part of the "call" of the Second Vatican Council. We have no more time to debate many things; this is the hour for CONVERSION and the acceptance of the grace of true spiritual renewal. We cannot waste one day.
Very thought provoking...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
how greatly God is being offended.Oh,if only everybody realized how great the Lord's mercy is and how much we all need that mercy, especially at this crucial hour!
DeleteThank you Father for writing the truth about the times which are now upon us. These types of convictions along with the willingness to share them despite what backlash may come require courage. Our precious Papa knows the times we are in as well and what courage he has shown in his decision. You are right on here. The time for holiness is now.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to bother you on this one, but it has been in the back of my mind since you posted this.
ReplyDeleteWhat makes you think that the Time of Mercy is coming to an end? Obviously if it is personal revelation then you do not have to elaborate, but I thought I would ask anyway.
"Ora Pro Nobis"
ReplyDeleteI share this with some others I have spoken to. Many people associated Blessed John Paul 11 with the one who is holding back "the man of sin" (St. Paul referring to the anti-Christ). When Pope John Paul closed the last Jubilee year I was watching it on EWTN and I understood that in his prayer he was asking for an extension of the time of Mercy (predicted by St. Faustina as eventually coming to an end). I believe that the pontificate of Pope Benedict was that extension. Some others agree with me on this. What this actually means in practice I cannot say except that Pope Francis seems to have been called by God to begin a thorough purification of the Church in line with whatever graces God is about to give to the world. This could be very near the warning that was predicted at Garabandal and which many now accept as inevitable where everyone living sees the truth about their soul. This has been described as a "min-judgement". If it is going to happen in any pontificate I guess it will be this one. People will have a chance to decide for or against God. The nature of this decision will be that once made, it will be extrememly difficult to retract (because of the nature of the revelation). This will be followed (I guess) by the "three days of darkness" predicted by Padre Pio and others. I don't know what it all means in practical details (some claim that they do but I am skeptical of such details). I do believe that Our Lady is central to all of this and that those consecrated to The Immaculate Heart will enjoy some level of protection. As I say, I am not the only person thinking of these things.
Thank you Fr. John. Your time is very much appreciated. Thank you.
