An appalling and disgusting letter

This letter which has appeared in the Independent surely shows the futility of engaging in any debate about women priests and/or bishops with those who are in favour of such things. It shows a breathtaking inability to listen, an incredibly bad grasp of exegesis and biblical theology and a lack of justice and charity. That over 1000 Anglicans signed this, presumably after some thought, shows a certain section of the C of E in a very bad light indeed. When is all this nonsense going to end?
