This article on Catholic Lane should especially be read by all bishops and priests. I would add - forgive me for repeating it - the question about evil and the influence of evil spirits. The subject of homosexuality has been avoided in the U.S. and, to some extent, I guess, is being ignored in Britain (because of fear? Politics? What?). The subject of evil spirits is also being avoided (for some of the same reasons?).
We will never get to the root of this problem unless we address ALL the issues and stop over psychoanalyzing the situation, being content with "profiles" and "histories". This is only PART of the problem and unless we are fearlessly honest we will not deal with it.
