The women bishops debate at Synod - the predicted outcome

This decision made today (July 9th) at the Church of England Synod had been predicted by some as the expected result at this stage. My understanding of it is that the "Catholic Traditionalists" are once again left feeling that they are not wanted. The draft legislation has been sent back to the bishops because the majority are not happy with the amendments and these will, quite possibly,  be watered down to mean much less in practice. In any event, one of the main problems will remain - how to ensure that the priest celebrating the Eucharist before you is, as far as you are concerned, validly ordained (i.e. by a validly ordained MALE bishop)
