Dear Father--I am looking for an answer to something which has just occurred to me and frankly I dont know who else to ask. We were hearing about the Gadarene swine recently and it occurred to me to wonder what a Jewish farmer was doing with a herd of pigs. After all as far as I know this isn't kosher and didn't Peter have a great deal of an issue with Paul about what to eat and what not to eat?On a lesser note who compensated the poor farmer for the loss of his valuable herd? I am sorry to keep discovering awkward questions, I am not trying to be a clever clogs, I just wish we had more bible study to discuss these issues withing the church --though I am able to attend some classes elsewhere at the moment.
