More Irish trouble!

I just saw that the Irish government is to close its embassy to the Holy See. (The building looks fine. I wonder if they are going to make it into a really cheap hotel - I'll go!). Read the analysis here. This is very bad news, but since the Vatican seems to be in a bit of a mess anyway (is that new?)....
